Social Studies

At Woodgrove Primary, we seek to nurture our Woodgrovians to become informed, concerned and participative citizen through our customised Social Studies curriculum and programme. Through the programmes, we hope to equips our Woodgrovians with key 21st century knowledge, values and skills to take on the challenges of working and living harmoniously with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds in Singapore and beyond.

Field-based Learning Activities

Field-based learning activities are a core component of the Social Studies learning experience. It allows Woodgrovians opportunities to develop critical thinking, communication and collaborative skills as they work with others to gather and process information while exploring. Information skills are also developed through the process of documenting of learning using multiple modes of presenting and communicating to others.
