Media Discovery Club engages pupils who exhibit interest and talent in photography and filming. The club mounts many meaningful hands-on activities for its members to further sharpen their photography skills. Pupils are given the opportunity to develop their skills through training programs such as video editing, short film projects, photography courses, exhibitions, field trips and competitions.


Photography training includes:

  • Use of DSLR Camera
  • Use of iPad

  • Black and white leading lines
  • Monochrome Photography

Basic Video Production Training includes:

  • Understanding of different types of video
  • Theory Concept of Pre to Post  Production
  • Script Writing (Hands  On)
  • Storyboarding (Hands  On)
  • Short Listing   (Hands  On)
  • Logistic Planning
  • Camera Handling
  • Filming Technique (Composition of Shots)
  • Filming Technique (Arranging of Angles)
  • Lighting
  • Understanding of different types of microphone
  • Actual shoot base on project given
  • Post Production with respective editing software
  • Video Editing
